Featuring Jessica Riddell: That Young Artist

My friends, I owe an apology to someone.  Her name is Jessica Riddell.  Some time ago, Jessica emailed me regarding featuring her work here at We Drink Because We’re Poets.  I subsequently told her that I’d have this up between 0900 and 1300 today.

Clearly I’m slipping.  Ultimately, I’m responsible.  So, I’d like to first apologize to Jessica for not having this up when I said I would.

That being said, allow me to officially introduce Jessica Riddell.

And let me tell you, her work is stunning.

This young lady was born in 1996 (I’m really trying not to date myself, here) in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.  She’s an up and coming artist currently based out of Fayetteville, NC and, in my opinion, up and coming is way too modest a description for her, with respect to her talent.

Check out these amazing drawings by Jessica:

You know what I’m most impressed by?  The clear love of the art that Ms. Jessica has.  It’s nice to see this cropping up more and more among our young people.  Dare I say, it adds to my happiness.

My friends, if you like what you see here, please don’t hesitate to let Jessica know personally.  You can find her at the following links:

Thank you to Jessica for allowing We Drink Because We’re Poets to show off her work.  It’s been a pleasure, indeed.
