Today’s second feature is author David W. Moore III.
David is a long time friend, though I’ve been a bit out of touch with what he’s up to. Understanding that he’s been out of sorts recently, dealing with a particular ailment that could have been most detrimental to his being, I am happy to see that the gentleman is still very hard at work, writing and currently promoting his horror-thriller, The Shroud.
My friends, my mind is blown by the very idea behind this book. Just imagine the confluence of biblical prophecy and technology, the rise of the Beast because of the hubris of humanity. Imagine the antichrist as a clone of Jesus Christ Himself.
There, your premise is set with the power humanity wields to literally play – no BE – God, and from there David Moore promises you a heart pounding thrill ride laced with horror and mystery.
As mentioned by a reviewer of this work, David is indeed a master of a written word, as he has shown throughout the years with his poetry and short stories. One but need allow themselves to be immersed in his creative thoughts and dreams, the expressions, which are his bread and butter, that make for so vivid and potent a telling that we must relegate ourselves to quivering in excitement to see what he comes up with next.
David happens to have available, on his website, an excerpt of The Shroud, which includes the Prologue and Chapter 1. Therein you will also find that there is much more to the works of David Moore, such as Marie Laveau’s Hot Pink Hearse. And you are interested to peer into the mind of the man himself, I encourage you to view the Interview by Renee Vickers.
